Ricardo Vidort was an extraordinary milonguero, whose dance was characterized by deep musicality, unique choreography and a special elegance. He believed fervently that tango was an expression of your feelings, and once said, "You don't make love the same way twice, and you don't dance the same way twice."
He was widely respected for the quality of his dancing, and his dedication to tango's traditions and its pursuit as an art form. He began dancing early in life and because of his eventual excellence danced across the world in exhibitions and milongas in Europe, North America, and Asia. Born in Buenos Aires in August 30,1929, he left us May 21, 2006, and is buried in Chacarita Cemetery.
